DSG Gearbox Repairs
Double clutch transmissions, commonly known as DSG, are fitted to a wide range of modern vehicles. They offer faster gear changes and improved efficiency, but require specialist knowledge when something goes wrong. We carry out DSG repairs and replacements for Audi, BMW, Ford, Kia, Renault, Seat, and Volkswagen, including both 6-speed and 7-speed units, as well as mechatronics.
Common fault codes we resolve include P17bf, P0841 and P189c.
S-Tronic Gearbox Repairs
S-Tronic is Audi’s own dual clutch transmission system, combining the control of a manual gearbox with the convenience of an automatic. Common issues include jolting gear changes, loss of power and loss of torque when reversing. We carry out full S-Tronic repair, rebuild and replacement services at our Dartford workshop.
Haldex All-Wheel Drive Repairs
Haldex all-wheel drive systems are fitted to vehicles from Audi, Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Vauxhall and Volkswagen. When a Haldex system develops a fault, it can affect traction, handling and overall safety. Common issues we resolve include shuddering when cornering, warning lights indicating reduced traction, loss of front-wheel traction when pulling away, filter and pump problems, and general servicing and maintenance.
We also carry out Haldex filter changes on vehicles where the manufacturer claims a lifetime fill, as these systems do benefit significantly from regular maintenance.
